Greetings from KolweziFairphone is a social enterprise with the goal of creating a fairer economy. The new social enterprise has opened up supply chains to understand how things are made and to build stronger connections between people and their products. For example they check mines in Africa to ensure to use resources from mines that do not support armed groups and they are for suppliers that treat their workers in a fair way.

Fairphone 2 is developed to help us tell a much bigger story. Phones serve to uncover the production systems, address challenging problems and stimulate discussions about what is truly fair. Fairphone is leading by example to expand the market for ethical products and to givie a voice to consumers that care about social values. Together with this community, fairphone tries to change the way products are made.
