CURRENT PROBLEMS OF CHEMICAL DISARMAMENT: BEYOND THE 2nd REVIEW CONFERENCE OF THE CHEMICAL WEAPONS CONVENTION

Speaker: Jiri MATOUSEK

Prof. Jiri MATOUSEK, DSc, Dipl. Eng. (*1930), toxicological & environmental chemist.
Studies: Tech. Universities Prague, Brno (1954); Over 38 years of army service (Col. res.).
Former: Head, Czechoslovak NBC-Defence R&D Establishment; Member, Czechoslovak Delegation to the Conference on Disarmament; Chairman, OPCW Scientific Advisory Board.
Currently: Professor, EU Research Centre of Excellence for Environmenal Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Masaryk University, Brno; Foreign member, Academy of Science, Bologna; Honorary member, NBC-Defence School Forum, Vienna; Member of several advisory boards at ministries and institutes, including foreign (UK, USA); Member, steering organs of 3 international NGOs of scientists and engineers.

Guests are welcome!

A ground pass is required to enter Vienna International Centre (VIC).
If you do not have a permanent pass, please mail your name to reno@wvnet.at
not later than 17 May. A list of participants will then be at the main gate of
the VIC and upon showing a personal document you will be issued a ground pass.

Recipients of this invitation who would like to attend the meeting are requested
to present this invitation and their identity document at Gate 1 of the VIC.

The VIC, 1220 Wien, Wagramerstrasse 5, is best reached by U 1 (Kaisermühlen)
