40 Years Ambassador for Peace

Salif Keita is famous as „Golden Voice of Africa“, as international Ambassador For Peace of the African Union. He was a friend of the famous Austrian jazzstar Joe Zaminul. He produced 1991 the famous album „Amen“ an important cornerstone of his world career. In April he was in Austria. In July he was on Tour in Spain. El Pais writes:

  • Hace 40 años, Les Ambassadeurs abrieron, desde Malí, los sonidos de África al mundo – Since 40 years international ambassador  from Mali with songs from Africa for the World
  • Viajamos a Bamako para asistir al renacimiento de una banda legendaria – Travel to Bamako to be at the cradle of a legendary band
  • El grupo que catapultó a la voz de oro africana y a Amadou&Mariam llega a La Mar de Músicas – A Group witch catapulted the voice of gold from Africa  … out of the ocean of musicians
